Located in one of Colorado’s historic gold-mining towns, Lady Luck Casino is dripping in Black Hawk’s renowned historic charm and offers popular slot and video poker machines in addition to a great selection of table games. In addition to its thrilling entertainment offerings, Lady Luck also takes its patrons back in time with its 1880’s railroad depot theme and Victorian throwbacks.
First built in 1993, the Lady Luck Casino was one of the first casinos to open its doors in Black Hawk, Colorado. Lady Luck Casino is one of 24 casinos to be owned and operated by nation-wide gaming enterprise Caesars Entertainment. The Isle Casino is also owned and operated by Caesars. A sky walk attaches the Isle to the Lady Luck’s second floor.
Offering an on-site hotel and restaurant, gamblers at the Lady Luck can enjoy non-stop entertainment or turn-in early and enjoy the comforts of the hotel’s cozy and affordable rooms.
In July 2020, both Lady Luck and Isle debuted six William Hill betting kiosks on the casino floor. There is no retail sportsbook counter with tellers, but the kiosks are easy to navigate and display all the betting options to customers.
Now that the William Hill app is rebranded as Caesars, the kiosks are Caesars-branded as well, but the interface should remain exactly the same, save for a different color scheme.
The Lady Luck Casino offers 16,000 square feet of gaming space spanned over two floors and a vast selection of popular slot and video poker games for gamblers to choose from. This is particularly true as Lady Luck features over 400 slot and video poker machines in addition to seven live-action tables.
Lady Luck offers traditional popular slots such as: Buffalo Grand, Wild Zone, Wild Wild Nugget, Brazil, and Buffalo Gold Collection.
For gamblers who prefer the Las Vegas gaming experience, Lady Luck also offers some of the hottest games from companies such as IGT, Aristocrat, and Incredible Tech. To be more specific, the Black Hawk casino offers new high-tech games such as Fireworks Festival, Tarzan, Dragon Sky, and Wheel of Fortune Exotic Far East.
While the Lady Luck Casino does not feature live-action poker tables, this is no real inconvenience to gamblers as the Isle Casino’s 14-table poker room is just a short stroll from the Lady Luck.
Despite not offering live-action poker, the Lady Luck Casino offers a video poker parlor on the casino’s second level. Lady Luck’s video poker parlor offers an expansive collection of video poker games that include Double Double Bonus, Ultimate X, and Deuces Wild. In addition to the video poker parlor, guests can also take a seat at the Zephyr Bar and start up a video poker game while enjoying a refreshing beverage on the house.
Lady Luck features seven live-action tables that include $5 blackjack, $5 craps, and roulette.
While Colorado’s Gaming Commission retains restrictions on what casinos are allowed to offer with respect to table gaming, Lady Luck Casino keeps things interesting by offering gaming promotions, poker-based games, and fun renditions on its current table games. This is particularly true as Lady Luck features games like Craps with 10X odds and Buffalo Blackjack 3, where gamblers can enjoy playing traditional blackjack with the option to place two additional bets.
Lady Luck and Isle Casino used to feature Eldorado Resort’s five-tiered Fan Club Rewards Program, which offers gamblers the opportunity to take advantage of exciting compensations and rewards while earning points through gameplay. Although rewards vary between casinos, points can be earned at any of Eldorado Resorts’ properties and membership is free.
With the merger of Eldorado and Caesars Entertainment, the properties should shift to Caesars Rewards sometime in 2021. In the meantime, you can link your Fan Club rewards account with a Caesars Rewards account.
The Fan Club is comprised of five tiers and each tier offers enhanced rewards and benefits. Members move up in rank by earning points through gameplay. The five tiers of the Fan Club rewards program are:
Fan Club Members must earn a designated amount of qualifying points within a calendar year in order to progress into a higher tier.
Points may be earned by using the Fan Club card when playing slot and video poker machines or table games and in some cases, members can earn points while playing non-traditional casino games like bingo.
Depending on tier, Fan Club members all receive excellent mail and email offers, promotions, and rewards based on their gameplay. Although rewards vary between tiers, all members are offered the opportunity to earn rewards such as free cash, gameplay, dining, ticket, and merchandise compensations. In addition to earned rewards, members are also treated to benefits including:
As members move up in the five-tiered program, rewards become more luxurious and occur more frequently.
The Lady Luck Casino features a hotel tower with 164 newly renovated non-smoking rooms, with options ranging from standard king and queen beds to wheelchair-accessible rooms. All rooms include free wifi, pillow-top mattresses, in-room coffee maker, flat-screen TV, and other standard hotel-room inclusions.
Luxury suits are also conveniently located at the Isle Casino, which is attached to Lady Luck via a climate-controlled skywalk.
Otis & Henry’s Restaurant: Lady Luck Casino features an on-site full-service restaurant, where gamblers can choose to take a break and dine-in or snag one of the restaurant’s delicious grab-and-go options and head back to the gaming floor. Located on the second floor of the casino, Otis & Henry’s Restaurant is famous for its signature O&H dishes, such as the O&H classic Burger and loaded nacho chili fries. The casino’s restaurant also offers an all-day breakfast, an espresso bar, and hot sandwiches.
In 1993, the Lady Luck Casino was one of the first large-scale gambling house to be built in Black Hawk’s casino district. Since then, Lady Luck Casino has been a hot-spot for local gamblers and tourists alike.
The casino was originally opened as Colorado Central Station until it was purchased by Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. in 2002. Lodging was not originally available at Lady Luck, until 2005 when Isle of Capri Inc. added a hotel and revamped the casino’s train-station décor.
Over ten years later, Eldorado Resorts acquired Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. in 2017, as part of a $1.7 billion business transaction. Making Lady Luck one of 24 gambling properties owned by Eldorado Resorts. After Eldorado Resorts took over, Lady Luck Casino was awarded Arrivalist Most Visited Places of 2018.
With the finalizing of the mega merger between Eldorado and Caesars Entertainment, Lady Luck and Isle are now officially Caesars Entertainment properties as of July 2020.
