Bally Bet Colorado launch

Colorado sports bettors have another tool to use.

Bally’s Corporation announced on Monday that it has entered the sports betting market here. For now it’s a beta launch of its mobile sportsbook, Bally Bet. It is available to download on iOS and Android. Bally Bet is also accessible via desktop on the website.

Colorado becomes the first state to welcome Bally Bet. There are plans to launch in three other markets in 2021.

According to the news release, the beta launch will accompany limited marketing, and will focus on deployment, testing and refinement of the Bally Bet app and its content. The release added that Bally intends to incorporate enhancements to the app over the coming weeks.

Bally Bet has a market-share deal with Golden Gates Casino in Black Hawk.

The release states that Bally Bet was developed by Bet.Works, a regulated U.S. sportsbook technology platform that was acquired by Bally’s.

David Wang, founder and CEO of Bet.Works, will become the CEO of Bally’s Interactive once the acquisition is final, said in the release:

“Bally Bet is the culmination of a tremendous amount of hard work by both the Bally’s and Bet.Works teams. (It) represents a key component of Bally’s long-term growth and diversification strategy. Today’s launch is just the beginning of what Bally’s has in store for the mobile sportsbook market.”

What can Colorado expect from Bally Bet?

Bally Bet will offer a variety of unique and innovative features to Colorado online sports betting. According to the release, that will include betting options on the biggest sports, exclusive in-app parlay games and integrated social features.

Wagers who use Bally Bet will also be able to earn points they can use at Bally’s three casinos in Colorado. Those are Golden Gates, Golden Gulch and Mardi Gras casinos in Black Hawk. Bettors can redeem those points for gaming, dining, retail and other amenities. The release adds bettors can use those points at all of Bally’s casinos across the country once the company’s new rewards program is launched this summer.

Adi Dhandhania, senior vice president, Strategy and Interactive, for Bally’s Corporation, said in the release:

“We are excited to provide sports fans across Colorado with a new and innovative way to engage with their favorite sports and teams. By integrating Bally Bet with Bally Rewards, we will provide sports and gaming enthusiasts with an unmatched betting experience.”

The launch of Bally Bet brings the number of Colorado sports betting apps to 22.
