The dawn of the new year brings new betting offers from legal Colorado sportsbooks. In particular, DraftKings and BetMGM are ready to kick off 2022 on the right foot.
With just two weeks remaining in the regular season, the playoff chances for Denver are evaporating, though opportunities to cash in on some big Broncos bets remain.
Week 17 ushers in a vital AFC West matchup with the Broncos (7-8, currently in 13th in the AFC) traveling to LA to take on the Chargers (8-7, slotted in the eighth spot). Denver’s playoff chances are slim, but a sliver of hope remains.
DraftKings promo offers a chance for $200
The folks at DraftKings are celebrating New Year’s with a compelling promo. As a new customer, you can place a bet of $5 on any NFL moneyline to win $200 if your team of choice is victorious. No DraftKings Colorado promo code is necessary.
This money is included with the addition of any winnings secured on the moneyline. You must make a $5 deposit, and the first bet placed must be on an NFL moneyline. DK will pay the winnings in eight $25 bonus increments. This DraftKings promo excludes other odds boosts, live bets, parlays and bonus.
A Broncos backer can currently get the Denver moneyline at +190 against the Chargers, which would net the bettor a total of $209.50 on a $5 bet.
BetMGM rolls out exclusive holiday special

Division rivals vie for postseason berth
The Broncos are in danger of missing the playoffs for a franchise-record sixth straight year unless they happen to win their final two contests. Even then, it’s no guarantee Denver sneaks in.
They’d need some help from a number of other teams. The Broncos are underdogs across the board, while the game’s over/under hovers right around 45 and 45.5, depending on where you look.
The total finished at 41 when these two played the first time around in Week 12, with the Broncos prevailing by two scores, 28-13. Pat Surtain II picked off Justin Herbert twice in the victory, helping the Broncos pull away in the fourth quarter. LA has lost two straight, surrendering 75 total points during the skid.
The Broncos have also lost two straight despite a relatively strong defensive effort, holding the Raiders (17-13) and the Bengals (15-10) under 20 points, each. Someone’s streak has to end.
