Mannings Casesars Sportsbook ambassadors

Given the rise of sports betting, you knew it was a matter of time.

The question, of course, was which sportsbook would get the Mannings. As of Tuesday morning, we now know.

Peyton, Eli, Cooper and father Archie are joining the Caesars Sportsbook in a historic first-of-its-kind partnership. Starting today, you’ll see the Mannings featured in advertising, in addition to making live event and commercial appearances.

As Chris Holdren, co-president of Caesars Digital, said in the news release:

“This isn’t the typical partnership between a sports betting company and major talent. We’re welcoming the most acclaimed family in football history to be integrated holistically into the Caesars family.”

One of the ways Caesars plans to incorporate the Mannings in various ways is through upcoming activations. The plan is to use the Mannings in fan engagement opportunities made possible by the Caesars Rewards. As the release notes, those who use the app for Colorado sports betting will now not only earn Tier Credits and Reward Credits, but they will have the chance to interact directly with the Mannings.

Caesars, Mannings put emphasis on responsible gambling

But the best aspect of this new partnership is the focus on responsible gambling. As the release notes, the Mannings will serve as prominent ambassadors for Caesars’ focus on responsible gaming.

The release adds that one of the ways the Mannings will do that is by drawing a parallel to their playing days and the importance of staying in control. Just as the Mannings were always in control of what happened on the field, bettors control what happens when they bet. And the Mannings will highlight the resources that Caesars provides to bettors to control their gambling.

As Peyton said in the release:

“We’re excited to partner with the team at Caesars Sportsbook. We’re looking forward to interacting with their customers who love sports and love football. We know Caesars has a lot of fun initiatives planned. They place a strong emphasis on community impact, and we appreciate their support of causes that are important to us.”

Fans of the Denver Broncos need no reminder of what PFM did on the field. Since he retired, the Broncos have been a mess. But it’s not just Peyton. One could argue the Mannings are the “First Family” of football. Now, they’re getting into sports betting.

It was only a matter of time.
