Colorado sports bettors, rejoice!
There’s a new loyalty program available in the state from PENN Entertainment. The company, which runs Barstool Sportsbook in Colorado and various other brands in different markets, has launched PENN Play.
PENN Play replaces the company’s previous program, mychoice rewards.
PENN Play available at Barstool Sportsbook, Ameristar Casino
Players in Colorado can use PENN Play to bet on sports online. Unfortunately, Colorado online casinos involving real money are still prohibited, even though sports betting is legal both online and at casinos.
PENN Play allows players to earn and redeem rewards across the company’s many brands, including Barstool Sportsbook and casino (where available), HollywoodCasino.com, PENNPlaycasino.com, and PENN-operated retail locations.
In Colorado, bettors can now use the integrated rewards program at Barstool or at the Ameristar Black Hawk Casino, which is operated by PENN Entertainment.
Jay Snowden, chief executive officer and president of PENN Entertainment, said the rebranding was made to simplify the process for players.
“PENN’s business has transformed over the last few years as we’ve expanded our retail, online gaming and entertainment experiences. With the rebranding of our loyalty program to PENN Play, we are taking steps to better align all of our brands under the PENN umbrella and create a more seamless omni-channel experience for our customers, which we believe will have a meaningful impact on both our retail and online gaming performance.”
Rewards will be redeemable at Barstool Sportsbook at Ameristar later this summer.
PENN Heroes program honors military, vets, and first-responders
PENN Play keeps the customer in mind. Some of the new features and functionality include:
- More accessible rewards: Start earning as soon as you sign up, then earn more benefits at each of the five tier levels.
- Redeem gifts and earn tier points and PENN Cash by purchasing items at partnered retailers.
- New perks with partner brands such as Live Nation and Choice Hotels.
- New website and mobile app with exclusive promotions.
That’s just scratching the surface. PENN Play has a bevy of other features now available.
The rebrand also enhances PENN’s dedicated program honoring active-duty military members, veterans, and first-responders. Formerly myheroes, PENN Heroes offers extra benefits to members of those groups.
PENN is promoting the new program by giving away $1.5 million in PENN Cash and prizes to celebrate. Players can download the PENN Play app to enter.
