My verdict on the Funrize Casino welcome bonus

Funrize blends casual arcade-style gaming with a solid rewards system. For new players, the welcome offer is fairly generous, especially if you’re looking for a no-deposit starting point. There are a couple of things to point out regarding the currencies at Funrize. You can think of TC as being like Gold Coins and PE as being similar to Sweepstakes Coins. However, you can’t simply redeem Promotional Entries for cash prizes or gift cards. Instead, you have to play with your PE and win another currency with them, called Winnings, which can then be redeemed. Essentially, it is an extra step that ensures you wager your PE at least once, but it is a little confusing.

Making things even less crystal clear is the fact that at Funrize, 100 Promotional Entries essentially equals 1 Winning, and 1 Winning essentially equals $1 when it comes time to redeem. That means when you receive, say, 100 free PE, that would be like getting 1 Sweeps Coin at another site. Except you can’t redeem PE, but have to win Winnings with them and then redeem those. Make sense? Funrize is currently in the process of updating its coin structure to better align with other sites, though fortunately. In the meantime, I’ll refer to its coins as GC and SC.

In any event, when evaluating the welcome bonus, it is fine, but you really want to complete your profile and get the extra GC and SC for doing so. Also, pay attention to the Daily Rewards and the Funrize Wheel, which you can spin once per day to pick up more TC and PE. You can additionally purchase Tournament Coins and get Promotional Entries as a bonus, much like at other sites.
