Tipico Sportsbook app Colorado launch

The mad rush is on.

As the start of the Denver Broncos and NFL season fast approaches, sportsbooks want to get into the Colorado sports betting market.

The latest to launch in the state is Tipico Sportsbook. The sports betting app is now available to download and you can find sportsbook on its website.

While not a big name sportsbook in the U.S., Tipico definitely enters the market at the right time.

Tipico has a market-access deal with Century Casino in Central City to bring sports betting to the state. Century Casinos in Cripple Creek have partnerships with bet365 and Circa Sports.

Tipico Sportsbook looks to expand US footprint

The launch of Tipico now brings the total to 25 Colorado sports betting apps available to use. As a comparison, New Jersey has 19 sports betting apps.

Tipico is a U.S. sportsbook that got its start in Europe in 2004. It’s regarded as the leading sports betting provider in Germany. The sportsbook is also currently live in New Jersey.

As Adrian Vella, Tipico U.S. CEO, said in a release:

“We are thrilled to announce Tipico’s continued growth within the United States. We look forward to continuing to grow our U.S. footprint with exciting announcements in the pipeline that will change the game for avid sports fans and bettors.”

One of the ways Tipico could stand out in Colorado is it invests heavily in the development of technologies that make the sports betting experience better and safer. The sportsbook also places the highest value on player protection, as was noted in the release announcing the partnership with Century Casino.

You may have also seen Tipico in the news at the end of July when it was announced the sportsbook has a sports betting deal with USA Today.

What to expect from Tipico in Colorado

When you download the app for iOS or Android, you’re sent through a short tutorial of four steps when you open the app. Of course, you can skip this and get right to signing up and betting. If you do skip it, this is what you would see:

1. “Let’s make this interesting”

“Watching sports is about to get a whole lot more interesting.” Basically telling what you get from the Tipico Sportsbook.

2. “Location”

“If you’re in CO, you’re all set to bet.” As is the case with sports betting apps, you have to share your location to place bets.

3. “Payments”

“We’ve got fast and easy deposit and withdrawl from your favorite payment methods, including ACH, bank transfer, credit card, Apple Pay, Pay and more.”

4. “Safety”

“Our technology is safe, secure and responsible.”

After that, you’re sent to the app’s home page where can you sign up and get the new welcome bonus match of up to $750. Once you sign up and place your first deposit, you have a good range of betting options for just about anything you want to place a wager on.

On the website, Tipico lays out how to get the welcome bonus and get started on the app.

As welcome bonuses go, this one from Tipico is pretty good.

The other way Tipico will look to separate itself from the competition is a seamless, single log-in experience. As Tipico expands and launches new products in the U.S., bettors will have a secure, virtual wallet feature that is accessible across state lines, according to the release.

Now that the start of the Broncos season is almost here, Colorado sports bettors have yet another app to add to their list and compare.
