FanDuel is now the official sports betting and daily fantasy partner of the Denver Broncos.

The sportsbook and the team announced the multi-year agreement on Monday.

Broncos first NFL team to officially have a sportsbook

The Broncos are the first NFL franchise to have a “sports betting partner.”

As the news release from FanDuel said, it’s also the first sports betting partnership that FanDuel has with an NFL franchise.

This is the first agreement since the NFL allowed them in May.

According to the release, the agreement also grants FanDuel access to robust marketing assets ranging from in-stadium signage to radio, television, and digital advertising to promote its sports betting offerings directly to fans.

“Colorado is home to a passionate sports fan base and independent spirit, and, together with the Broncos, we’re going to take the fan experience in Colorado to the next level,” FanDuel Group CMO Mike Raffensperger said in a news release. “With the NFL season just around the corner, partnering with an innovative organization like the Denver Broncos allows us to offer engaging fan experiences both inside and outside the stadium and access to unique betting promotions and content.”

FanDuel establishes itself on CO sportsbook market

FanDuel was one of the first sportsbooks to launch in Colorado when sports betting launched in the state on May 1.

Now it will add this powerful partnership in a market that appears to be ahead of the curve.

Throw in the $25.5 million handle that Colorado had in the first month with sportbooks, and you can see why the needle is pointing up.

FanDuel has an agreement with Twin Rivers Group to run the online component at Golden Gates Casino in Black Hawk.

“FanDuel has built a strong reputation as a premier gaming destination for sports fans,” Broncos Chief Commercial Officer Mac Freeman said in the news release. “The ways they smartly reach people through engaging and entertaining content is in line with the Broncos’ innovative thinking when connecting with our fans.

“With FanDuel’s successful launch into Colorado earlier in May, we believe Broncos fans will enjoy FanDuel’s trusted mobile sports betting and daily fantasy platforms.”

FanDuel isn’t waiting to get the promotions started for Colorado bettors.

According to the news release, they include:

  • The Broncos +30 on the point spread for Week 1 (+100, max bet of $50) at home against the Tennessee Titans.
  • The over/under on Broncos total wins (7.5) set at +1,600 with a $10 max bet.

In addition, as the release continues, all new and current FanDuel customers in Colorado can receive special odds boosts on the Broncos to win Week 1 (boosted from -130 to +120) and rookie wide receiver Jerry Jeudy to score a touchdown (+250 to +400).

Second sportsbook agreement

Betfred and the Broncos announced a multi-year deal on Tuesday.

Betfred will become the ninth sportsbook to launch in Colorado when it does so on Wednesday. The UK-based company has an agreement with Saratoga Casino in Black Hawk.

Included in that agreement with the Broncos are plans for the first onsite betting lounge in the NFL. It should get completed in time for the 2020 regular season and is planned for the south side of Empower Field at Mile High.

According to a news release from the Broncos, fans can visit the lounge pregame to receive assistance on placing bets with the Betfred digital app and view live odds.
