Wyoming sports bettors now have a third online option.
That became official at 7 a.m. Thursday with the launch of FanDuel Wyoming Sportsbook.
FanDuel joins DraftKings and BetMGM on the Wyoming mobile sportsbook menu. They were the original online apps that went live with the official launch of sports betting in the Cowboy State on Sept. 1.
Wyoming is FanDuel’s 15th U.S. sportsbook market.
And having another in-state sportsbook option is a big plus.
Wyoming is an online/mobile-only sports betting state. That means there are no retail brick-and-mortar sportsbooks where bettors can place wagers.
Tennessee is the only other online sportsbook-exclusive state in the U.S.

FanDuel given Wyoming green light last November
The Wyoming Pari-Mutuel Commission originally approved FanDuel for operation Nov. 19 via a unanimous vote.
But it took a few months for one of the country’s largest online sportsbooks to launch.
Regardless, it was just in time for some March Madness betting. The University of Wyoming men’s basketball team tipped off play Thursday afternoon in the Mountain West Conference Tournament in Las Vegas.
The Cowboys, who headed to Vegas with a 24-7 record, are on the NCAA Tournament bubble.
Of course, college basketball isn’t the only sport on FanDuel’s vast menu.
The NBA and NHL seasons are heating up with the start of the playoffs looming in April.
The Masters golf tournament also is scheduled next month.
So is the start of the Major League Baseball season after the owners and players’ union reached tentative agreement on a new labor deal Thursday.
As always, FanDuel offers a variety of betting avenues, including pointspread, moneyline, parlay, prop and same-game parlay wagers.
FanDuel also offers Same Game Parlay Plus wagers, where bettors can combine same-game parlay legs with parlay legs from other games. It’s the only U.S. sportsbook to offer the feature.
And no matter your betting sport — or type — of choice, it’s always good to have more sportsbook options when comparing lines and shopping for odds.
FanDuel offering enticing bonus-bet offer
Not only does FanDuel give Cowboy State denizens another option.
The sportsbook also has rolled out an enticing sign-up offer as well. As detailed above, it’s a bonus first bet promotion worth up to $1,000.
Here’s how to get in on the action:
- Those age 18 and older can sign up and verify their identity. It’s a streamlined process that takes less than two minutes.
- Fund your account by making an initial deposit.
- Pick the game or sport of your choice and place your first bet. Your first real-money wager will be the qualifying wager for the bonus first bet promo.
- If that bet doesn’t win, FanDuel will match the wager by refunding up to $1,000 to your account. The refund will be in the form of site credit.
It’s a bona fide can’t-lose proposition.
Don’t let this opportunity to sign up for Wyoming’s newest online sportsbook fall by the wayside.
