How to sign up with Jackpocket

You must use the Jackpocket.com website to download its app for Apple iOS or Android.

Once you have the app, begin by clicking “sign up” on the main screen. You will have to enter your mobile phone number and email address in the next phase. That will create your account, and you’ll receive a verification code to the phone number you registered. Enter that verification code to move forward.

Next, you’ll either have to scan your ID or enter it manually. If entering it manually, you’ll fill out your first name, middle initial, last name, birthday and zip code. Jackpocket needs this information to make sure you’re legally utilizing its iLottery.

How to download the Jackpocket app

Visit the Jackpocket home page. On the opening screen, you’ll find the option to “get the app.” Click that link.

A screen will pop up to enter your mobile number, and it will text you a link to download the app for either Apple iOS or Android.

It could take a few minutes for the text to come through. Once it does, you will find a link to download the app on your iPhone or Android.

Features on the app

Jackpocket has a plethora of features on its app. At the top center of your screen, you can choose the state in which you’re located. When clicking on the state, it lets you select “find my location,” allowing your smartphone to geolocate for you. Selecting your current location [state] will have an effect on what the specifics of the app look like moving forward. The overall layout is the same regardless of your state, though.

The first, and largest, block on the app is the “Game of the Day.” This shows the specific game, such as Mega Millions, the amount of money in the jackpot, and the time of the drawing. There is also a “play now” button with the cutoff time and a countdown clock below that.

The second block allows you to deposit funds into your account. This block features your account balance, an “add funds” button and the types of payments that can be processed in your particular state. You can also add funds to your account through the sidebar menu. You can open the sidebar by clicking the three lines at the top left-hand corner of the app. You can deposit into your account through the “fund account” option. This is also where you can withdraw money from your account, if you click the “payout” option.

The sidebar menu is another way to view your account balance. Clicking on your name or account information once the sidebar menu is open takes you to another page. This allows you to view your account in more detail, including things like your payment methods, activity, funding history and more.

Furthermore, you can choose to “play for free” after opening the sidebar menu.

On the home screen, below your account balance block, is the “today’s games” block. This simply shows each game that is available for the day. Along with the title of the game comes the total amount available in the game, the time it locks, a “play” button and a countdown timer.

The next block is “upcoming games.” This block is virtually identical to the “today’s games” block, but it is for games that will take place tomorrow or later. This block doesn’t utilize the countdown timer, though it does tell you when that game locks.

If you click into a game, you’ll have multiple options. It allows you to pick your own numbers or utilize Jackpocket’s “quick pick” option. The quick pick feature randomly selects your numbers for you and is available in all lotteries.

At the bottom of the app, there are five categories that can be clicked. This main page is seen as the “play” category. Next is the “pools” category. This feature allows you to join pools, increasing your chances of winning a particular lottery. You can join public pools or create private pools for you and your friends.

The next category is “autoplay.” This feature allows you to pick your games and numbers. The autoplay will then play any time that lottery appears, making sure you never miss a lottery, as long as you have money in your account. Autoplay can be paused or deleted at any time.

The “results” feature tells you the results on any given day. The most recent results will pop up, but you can change the settings near the top of the screen. It allows you to customize your results by state, game and date. You can go back to 2015.

The final category at the bottom of the app is “orders.” Simply put, this is where you can find your placed orders. There are three categories on this screen. The past section allows you to see all of the orders you have placed that are complete. The upcoming section is the orders that you have placed but have not been completed yet. The final section is winners. This will show you all of your past orders that you have won.

Deposit/withdraw options at Jackpocket

Depositing and withdrawing funds from a legal lottery app, such as Jackpocket, is an easy and safe way to play the iLottery. Transactions can be processed at a fast rate, while keeping your money safe in your account.

Deposits

Jackpocket features plenty of depositing options, especially compared to other iLottery and sports betting apps. These depositing methods depend on your state, though, as some states don’t allow certain types of transactions. Colorado only allows three of the five types of deposit methods.

You can deposit to Jackpocket in Colorado in the following ways:

  • Direct from your bank account
  • PayPal (must be confirmed with your bank account)
  • E-check

Depositing money directly from your bank account is a quick and easy method to deposit for Jackpocket. You simply choose the amount you want to add, then select “add bank account” in the payment options. Select your bank, log in with your bank account’s username and password, and confirm your deposit.

PayPal is another simple, quick and easy way to fund your account. Once selecting your fund amount, click “PayPal” in the payment option. Simply link your PayPal account to Jackpocket. Your bank account must be confirmed with your PayPal account for this method to work.

Adding funds via e-check is also simple, but not as timely. Once again, choose your funding amount to start the process. Select “use e-check” as your payment option. Fill out your details, and hit submit. Jackpocket will send a verification email, stating that two test deposits were sent to your bank account. You’ll have to verify those amounts in the app, and then you’ll be able to start playing.

There are two other ways to deposit in states that allow for it. These deposit methods could potentially be available in Colorado in the coming weeks or months.

Here are the two alternative ways to deposit:

  • Debit card: Mastercard or Visa
  • Credit card: Mastercard, Visa or Discover

Debit and credit cards are the final way to deposit funds into your account. Add the amount you want to deposit, and select to use a card as your payment option. Debit cards can be Mastercard or Visa, while credit cards can be Mastercard, Visa or Discover. Add your card information to the app, and begin playing.

Jackpocket boasts an intriguing autofund feature. This feature will refill your account when your balance drops below a specified amount. You set the minimum balance, refill amount and method of payment. For example, you could refill your account with $100 from your bank account every time your account drops below $5.

Jackpocket will also make a recommendation for your refill amount and minimum balance if you are using the autoplay feature. This recommendation will make sure your account always has enough funds to cover your autoplays. If you’re interested, this is a way to set up your account so you don’t have to look at it, and it will consistently play for you.

Every payment method that is legal in each specified state, excluding PayPal, can be used for the autofund feature.

Withdrawals

Withdrawing is as easy as depositing, though it isn’t quite as fast. Click the sidebar menu and select “payout.” You will need to enter your bank account information or select a previous bank account that you have on file. Enter the amount of funds that you’d like to withdraw, then submit your request. Jackpocket payouts take three to five business days to show in your bank account. If they aren’t there in the allotted amount of time, contact customer support.

Betting options

Here is a rundown of Colorado’s five betting options mentioned above.

Mega Millions

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery. It runs every Tuesday and Friday with a jackpot starting at $40 million. You pick six numbers from two distinct pools, or you can have the “Quick Pick” option select your numbers for you. You must select five numbers from the first pool, ranging from 1 through 70 (white balls). Your final number is from a second pool, ranging 1 through 25 (gold Mega Ball). You win based on how many of your numbers match the numbers drawn. There are nine ways to win.

In Colorado, you can add a Megaplier to increase all of your non-jackpot winnings. The Megaplier is drawn prior to the Mega Millions drawing on each Tuesday and Friday from a pool of 15 balls — five are worth 2x, six are worth 3x, three are worth 4x and one is worth 5x. Here are your payouts if you opt to add the Megaplier to your ticket:

Powerball

Powerball is similar to Mega Millions. It’s a multi-state lottery that runs every Wednesday and Saturday. You will select five balls from a pool of 69 (white balls) and one ball from a pool of 26 (red balls). Once again, you win based on how many of your numbers match the numbers drawn.

Powerball also has a multiplier known as the power play. The multiplier is selected from a set of 43 balls. There are 24 balls that represent a 2x multiplier, 13 for 3x, three for 4x, two for 5x and one for 10x. These multipliers are for any drawing that doesn’t win the grand prize. Similar to Mega Millions, there are nine potential payouts.

Lucky for Life

Lucky for Life is another six-ball lottery. The first five balls come from a pool of 48 (white balls), while the sixth ball comes from a pool of 18 (green balls). The sixth ball is referred to as the “lucky ball.”

There are two “lifetime” prizes in Lucky for Life. The top prize is $1,000 per day for life. This requires you to correctly pick all of the white balls and the lucky ball. The second prize is $25,000 per year for life. You must pick each of the five white balls correctly to win this.

There are 10 possible payouts for Lucky for Life.

NOTE: In this image, the white balls are colored green, while the lucky balls are colored gold.

In Colorado, the lifetime prizes can be won by multiple players. In that case, the prizes may be divided equally among the winners. Here are the payouts if multiple players win either the top prize or second prize.

Cash 5

Cash 5 is arguably the simplest of the Colorado lotteries. You pick five numbers between 1 and 32. You can use the “Quick Pick” feature to pick your numbers for you. If two or more of your five numbers match, you win.

There are four ways to win this lottery.

Pick 3

Pick 3 is a lot more complex than its name would suggest. First, select three numbers between 0 and 9. You can choose three unique numbers or duplicate any of the trio. For example, you can choose 173 or 221.

Next, you must choose your type of bet. For $0.50 tickets, you can choose any of these types of bets:

  • Exact order
  • Any order
  • Front pair
  • Back pair

You can choose any of the above types of bets on $1, $2 or $5 tickets, along with an ‘exact order + any order‘ bet:

  • Exact order: You have to pick the exact sequence of numbers in order correctly.
  • Any order: You have to pick each of the three numbers correctly. The order doesn’t matter.
  • Exact order + any order: You can pick either the exact order or any order, as listed above.
  • Front pair: You must pick the first two numbers in the correct order, but the third number doesn’t matter.
  • Back Pair: You must pick the last two numbers in the correct order, but the first number doesn’t matter.

There are seven ways to win this lottery.
