PlayAGS is bringing its top-performing Spectra UR43 to casinos in Colorado.

The company was recently approved to place a portfolio of electronic gaming machines and table products at casinos in the state.

Spectra UR43 is tops in game performance

There are 33 casinos in Colorado operating nearly 11,000 gaming machines. Online casinos in Colorado are not legal. According to the Colorado Department of Revenue, casinos collected $94.2 million in adjusted gross revenue in August.

Since its launch at the beginning of the year, the Spectra UR43 has topped the Eilers & Krejcik Game Performance survey for nine consecutive months. It features a 43-inch ultra HD 4k portrait monitor outlined with clean, game-controlled, eclipse lighting.

The cabinet is an evolution of the Orion Portrait cabinet and is available in Class II, Class III and historical horse racing markets.

Missouri has also approved placing AGS slot machines in that state’s casinos. Mark DeDeaux, AGS senior vice president and general manager, says the two states are just the start.

“Getting licensed in these two important jurisdictions is a meaningful piece of AGS’ overall growth strategy, in combination with the investments we have made in hiring top talent within R&D and expanding our game studios worldwide. We are pleased to be able to offer our high-performing, chart-topping new products to customers in both the Colorado and Missouri markets.”

Players can find AGS games at three Colorado casinos.

Most of AGS’ revenue comes from leasing machines

AGS says it designs all its cabinets with the intention of capturing the attention of players on casino floors while aiming to maximize operator profits. It offers its customers the option of either leasing or purchasing machines and associated gaming systems.

A substantial portion of the company’s revenues come from machines under revenue sharing or fee-per-day lease agreements. In 2022, approximately 72% of the company’s total revenue came through recurring contracted lease agreements.

PlayAGS, Inc. was founded in 2005. Its corporate headquarters is in Las Vegas. Its largest manufacturing and warehouse facility is in Oklahoma City.
