Century Casino & Hotel Central City is one of 40 casinos housed in the state of Colorado. Located in the gambling town of Central City, the Century Casino & Hotel opened its doors in 2006 as a joint enterprise between Tollgate Venture LLC and Century Casinos Inc.
Half of the Century Casino & Hotel is located in the building formerly known as The Tollgate Casino, and the other half of the casino was newly built in 2006. After its remodel, the property became one of the largest and most active casinos in the historic mining town of Central City.
Century Casino & Hotel offers has a vast selection of popular slots and video poker machines. The casino also features an intimate table gaming area where gamblers can try their hand at blackjack, roulette, or craps. While Century does not have a poker room, it does feature a poker table. Poker-based games can also be found among the six gaming tables. For the convenience of its patrons, Century Casino also offers 24-hour gaming and alcohol service.

Guests can find the eatery on the lower level of the casino.
Retro Deli and Tavern: Featuring grand selections for casino-goers looking for grab-and-go options, the deli offers tasty food, drink and specialty coffee options. The Retro Deli and Tavern is open late, offering midnight snacks and drinks to night owls. The deli also features a noodle bar where guests can make custom pasta creations. It is popular for its ice cream and fresh oven-baked pizza.

History of Century Casino & Hotel Central City
Century Casino started in the building formerly known as the Tollgate Casino in Central City. The building was renovated to nearly double its size, and Century Casinos Inc. and Tollgate Ventures jointly opened the new Century Casino & Hotel in 2006. The project led to Century Casino becoming one of the largest casinos in the gambling hub of Colorado.
At the time, Tollgate owned 35% of the property; however, Century Casino Inc. purchased Tollgate’s stake for around $3.3 million in December 2007.
The Central City Casino was voted Denver’s Best Casino 2012-2018 in the annual Cityvoter.com A-list contest.
