After legal sports betting was approved for 2020 in the state of Colorado, Triple Crown Casinos moved quickly to secure its license and position in Colorado’s up-and-coming sports gambling market. In February, the Brass Ass became one of seven casinos to be approved for a sports betting master license.
Four of the seven licenses went to casinos within the city. In addition, three out of the four sports betting licenses went to Triple Crown Casinos, giving the gambling enterprise a firm hold on the Cripple Creek sports betting market.
Along with the Brass Ass and its two sister casinos, JP McGills and Midnight Rose, the other casinos that received a sports betting license are Dostal Alley, Double Eagle, Monarch Casino and Saratoga Casino.
The Brass Ass Casino can expand its gambling operations to include an online, mobile, and retail sportsbook.
Since February’s first round of licensing, other casinos throughout Colorado’s gaming industry have also secured sports gambling permits. Many Colorado casinos spent several months to sign contracts with notable sportsbook agencies in preparation for legalized sports betting in the Centennial State.
However, despite the rising pressure to secure a reputable sportsbook, Triple Crown Casinos has yet to announce which operator will head the sportsbook in Cripple Creek.
Since Triple Crown Casinos moved swiftly to secure its license, it can only be assumed that a business deal with a top-notch sportsbook is likely on the horizon for Cripple Creek’s Triple Crown Casinos.
The Brass Ass Casino maintains a 2,600-square-foot gambling floor that features the city’s largest selection of nickel slots. The Cripple Creek casino offers over 200 popular slot and video poker machines and 11 gaming tables.
Bets start from penny slots to a max bet of $100.
Not only does the Brass Ass have the biggest selection, but the property also boasts the loosest slots and video poker machines in the city.
The historic casino offers a wide range of gaming experiences, from blackjack and roulette to classical reels and video poker.
The Western-style casino also features popular slot games such as:
The Brass Ass offers an assortment of poker-based games, blackjack, craps, and roulette.
The poker room at Midnight Rose Casino is ideal for gamblers who prefer playing against other casino-goers rather than the house.
Although the Brass Ass Casino does not offer poker games, the interconnected sister casino, Midnight Rose, boasts the largest poker room in Cripple Creek.
The Midnight Rose Poker Room offers a variety of popular poker games. On “dealer’s choice” night, you can expect Crazy Pineapple Hi-Lo and Omaha Hi.
