Century Casino & Hotel Cripple Creek is one of 40 casinos in Colorado. The property is owned and operated by Century Casinos Inc., which allows owns and operates Century Casino & Hotel Central City. The Cripple Creek location is home to nearly 200 slot and video poker machines and six table games. The casino itself is smoke-free since there is a statewide ban on indoor smoking. Century Casino also features a 21-room hotel.
In the first half of 2020 Century Casinos Inc., entered into two partnerships with online sportsbooks. First, in February it reached an agreement with Circa Sports Colorado LLC and then, the second agreement was with bet365, which was announced in May. There is no word as of yet whether Century Casino Cripple Creek plans to have a retail sportsbook as well.
Until 2020, Colorado did not allow any form of online gambling. However, thanks to a referendum passed in November 2019, online sports betting launched in Colorado on May 1.
Century Casinos Inc. entered into two partnerships with online sportsbooks Circa Sports Colorado and bet365. On July 1, Circa Sports launched its sportsbook app, which boasts creative prop bets, higher and fairer betting limits, and lower holds on futures markets.
Casino owner and downtown Las Vegas developer Derek Stevens is the man behind Circa Sportsbook. An avid bettor himself, Stevens and the company proclaimed that it would allow yes/no futures bets, as well as allowing futures bets in parlays and it will not reduce limits for winning players. They also will accept straight bets, parlays, match-ups, futures, props, and in-play betting.
Circa Sports operates out of Las Vegas and launched a mobile sportsbook for Golden Gate Hotel & Casino and D Las Vegas, both located in Las Vegas.
As for bet365, there is no word yet when the sports betting app will go live, but the agreement does stipulate a minimum annual guarantee for revenue that will be awarded to Century Casino. Bet365, the world’s largest online sports betting company with revenue exceeding $4 billion. Additionally, it is licensed and regulated in multiple jurisdictions, including New Jersey, Great Britain, Spain, Ireland, and Sweden.
Located in the heart of Cripple Creek, Century Casino has roughly 15,000 square feet of gaming space and is home to 195 game machines and six table games.
The slot and video poker machines range in price from pennies up to $100, the highest amount allowed in Colorado.

Under current Colorado gaming restrictions, poker, blackjack, craps, and roulette are the only table games permitted. Century Casino has four blackjack tables, one poker, and one roulette table, but does not have any craps tables.
Century Casino Central City does not have a poker room.
Century Casino Cripple Creek’s player rewards program is known as the Winner’s Zone. Players can sign up for free. Doing so allows them to earn points, which in turn, earns them rewards such as free plays, food and drink discounts at the casino, mail offers, and entries into prize drawings.
New members can earn up to $20 in free play during their first 24 hours of membership based on how many points they earn. Players earn one point for every $1 wagered on slot machines and $2 on video poker.
There are three tiers available in the Winner’s Zone that players reach by accruing points in rolling six-month windows. The tiers are Gold, Platinum, and Platinum Premier.
Century Casino & Hotel Cripple Creek has 21 rooms available for its guests. The rooms range from those with two queen beds all the way up to the suite which includes free WiFi, a mini-fridge, and microwave as well as a glass fireplace. The king suites can accommodate two guests, while the double queen suites can house up to four people.
Century Casino is home to the Mid-City Grill as well as two bars. Century Casino also hosts events and groups, which includes catering. Members of the Winner’s Zone can enjoy food and drink discounts and specials.
Century Casino & Hotel Cripple Creek was the first casino operated by Century Casinos Inc., in Colorado.
It was originally known as Womack’s Saloon & Gaming Parlour. The name remained the same when Century Casinos purchased it along with Legends Casino in 2010 and combined the two.
The name was changed to its current moniker in 2010 as the company aimed to have all its casinos carry the Century Casino brand. At the time the facility as a whole was given a facelift that included new carpet, signage, and an overall revitalized interior appearance.
