When it comes to big sporting events, the Colorado market knows to expect promotions.

Lots and lots of promos.

Aside from the onslaught of TV commercials, sports fans picked up on sportsbooks throwing new promos at them pretty quickly.

For the first March Madness betting in the state, the expectation was the sportsbooks would go all out.

And they have.

What should add to the excitement is the University of Colorado getting the invite and being the favorite over No. 12-seed Georgetown.

Plus, for those who may not want to tempt fate and bet on their favorite team, there are five fun and wacky March Madness prop bets at your disposal.

Here is a round up of the best college basketball betting promos for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament (and beyond).

1. Bet $1, Win $100

DraftKings Sportsbook is offering this no-brainer promo for new users.

The promotion is good through the national championship game on April 5.

You can use this promo for all games between now and then, if you’re a new DraftKings user.

Here’s how it works:

  • Click the link above to get started.
  • Make a deposit of at least $5 into your sportsbook account.
  • Following your deposit, visit the landing page from the Sportsbook Promos page and pick your game by clicking the “BOOST THIS EVENT” next to the event of your choice.
  • Choose wisely since you can’t change your boosted game once you have clicked “BOOST THIS EVENT.”
  • Following your game choice, you’ll be issued with a single-use odds boost for the event you pick. The boost is for +10,000 (100-1) odds.
  • Max bet is $1.

2. 50% Hoops Refund

If you have a good feeling about a team making it to the Final Four, William Hill Sports Betting is running a promotion for you.

Bet at least $10 on the men’s national champion. If your team is one of the Final Four teams, you receive a bonus equal to 50% of your qualifying wager’s stake, up to $50.

The maximum Free Bet per participant for this promotion is $50.

3. March Matchups

Since the Buffaloes are in the tourney, there has to be at least one promo that involves them.

BetMGM Sportsbook is offering a Saturday college basketball parlay.

Colorado, Texas and Maryland all to win.

The currents odds for the parlay at the sportsbook sit at +310.

4. Seeds of Victory

In terms of promos, this is one of the more creative ones.

If you think a team will get hot and win the national title, in the men’s or women’s bracket, Sportsbetting.com will bonus your balance for every win the team earns.

Here’s the creative part, the credit is based on the team’s seeding.

So if you pick a 10-seed, each win a team gets would earn you $10 in bonus credits.

The promo runs until Thursday morning.

5. Spread the Love

FanDuel Sports Betting has brought this popular promotion to March Madness.

The Spread the Love is for the Michigan State (11) vs UCLA (11) first-four game. It’s for the Spartans to cover the spread.

Users who bet this will receive the final line of the spread. So if you bet on Michigan State +20 and it closes Michigan State +100, you’ll receive Michigan State at +100.

The spread will increase one point in Michigan State’s favor for every 2,500 bets that are placed on the market (Michigan State with the points).

The max wager is $50.

6. Cinderella Team Bonus

If a 16-seed covers the spread, Betfred Sports will give you 25% more on your winnings.

How it works:

Place a minimum single bet of $50 on the point spread on Hartford (16) or Drexel (16).

If the wager wins, receive 25% more on your winnings.

7. $200 Tourney Special

TheScore Sports Betting is offering this promo to first-time users only, and it’s throughout the tournament.

When you place any bet during the tourney, you get a $200 bonus. That’s all you have to do.
