Betfred Sports came in at the last possible second.
It’s no coincidence the sports betting app launches on the day the NFL season starts. The Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs kick off the 2020 NFL regular season.
Fans in the CO online sports betting market who want to wager on the game in Kansas City now have another option from which to choose.
The launch of Betfred brings the total to 14 Colorado sports betting apps in the state since the launch on May 1. The mobile app is available on iOS and Android devices.
If the name “Betfred” looks familiar, that’s because they have a multiyear agreement with the Denver Broncos. It is an official partner with the NFL organization.
Included in that deal with the Broncos are plans for a game-day lounge on the south side of Empower Field at Mile High for the 2020 season. The goal is to have the lounge close to the Ring of Fame Plaza.
When it’s completed, it will be the first on-site betting lounge in the NFL.
Betfred has also had its retail sportsbook open since mid-June at the Saratoga Casino in Black Hawk. The sports betting company has a market deal with the casino.
As Bryan Bennett, COO of Betfred USA Sports, said in the press release announcing the launch:
“Launching Betfred Sports online betting in Colorado and Iowa in time for the football season is a significant milestone for us. We look forward to utilizing our various partnerships including the Denver Broncos, Sanford International, Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort and Saratoga Casino Black Hawk to grow our online base and take advantage of our unique offers.”
What can Colorado users expect?
As the news release states, those who download and use the app can expect a seamless betting experience.
One of the huge perks of betting in Colorado is you can do it from the comfort of your favorite chair. That’s obviously the case with the Betfred app, as well.
The release adds that users have access to dedicated pages for college and professional sporting events.
Betfred customers will see real-time updates on a variety of betting types that include straight bets, in-play wagering, parlays, teasers and more. Special offers are also available for Colorado users.

Betfred USA Sports wasn’t started until 2019 and is based out of Las Vegas.
