Betfred Sports is all-in on Colorado sports betting.
The sportsbook already has a partnership with the Denver Broncos. That was announced in mid-June.
Betfred also has a deal with Broncos Ring of Fame receiver Rod Smith.
Now comes the announcement of a multi-year partnership with the Colorado Rockies.
As the release notes, the terms of the deal include various digital and stadium assets at Coors field, in addition to game-day experiences for baseball fans including ticket giveaways, game suites, in-game contests and more.
To really hammer home the focus on Colorado, Betfred was also one of the first sportsbooks to open a retail outlet. You can find the sportsbook at the Saratoga Casino in Black Hawk.
As Bryan Bennett, COO of Betfred USA Sports, said in the release announcing the partnership with the Rockies:
“Colorado has proven to be a fantastic market for Betfred Sports, and we look forward to further demonstrating our commitment to local fans with this partnership with the Rockies,” stated Bryan Bennett, Chief Operating Officer of Betfred USA Sports. “Along with our sportsbook at Saratoga Casino Black Hawk and our other sports partnerships in the state, Betfred is investing in Colorado for the long haul.”

Second sports betting deal for the Rockies
This is the second partnership between a sportsbook and the Rockies. The other is with DraftKings that was announced in September.
While there aren’t plans for a betting lounge at Coors Field like there are at Empower Field at Mile, it’s important to note that fans won’t see betting kiosks at stadiums or arenas in Colorado.
Those are only permitted under state law at casinos in Black Hawk, Central City and Cripple Creek.
Unless the Colorado Legislature changes the rule, that’s how those betting lounges will operate.
So if you go to Coors Field, you can still bet on your phone but you won’t see a betting kiosk.
The fact fans can even do that is still rather remarkable.
It was just a few years ago that sports leagues and teams were talking about how evil sports betting is.
Now you can’t go a day without a sportsbook announcing a partnership with a professional team.
The Betfred deal with the Rockies is the latest push from the sportsbooks based out of the U.K.
As Walker Monfort, Rockies vice president of corporate partnerships, said in the release:
“Betfred Sports has established themselves as one of the best in the market. Sports betting has seen incredible growth across the country recently and we are always looking for new and exciting ways to engage with not only our fans but all sports fans throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.”
