The Denver Broncos are all in on sports betting.

The organization announced its third multi-year agreement with a sportsbook on Thursday, this time with BetMGM.

The previous two agreements are with FanDuel and Betfred:

  • FanDuel and the Broncos teamed up for the first-ever NFL franchise sportsbook deal.
  • Betfred and the Broncos have plans for the first on-site betting lounge on the south end of Empower Field at Mile High Stadium.

Broncos, BetMGM in-stadium betting lounge

What’s unique about this deal is the plan for an in-stadium betting lounge at Mile High.

According to the press release, fans will find the BetMGM lounge on the Level 1 concourse adjacent to Gate 4. It is planned between Sections 111 and 112.

The betting lounge is for fans 21 and older. Fans will have access to a full-service premium bar, live odds and assistance with BetMGM’s mobile app.

On top of the betting lounge, the partnership includes:

  • VIP travel packages
  • Benefits through MGM Resorts’ loyalty program, M life Rewards
  • Free-to-play mobile game
  • Digital marketing assets
  • In-stadium promotions and signage

The press release notes that additional in-stadium promotions will be announced at a later date. That is highlighted by BetMGM’s season-long First Possession Payoff promotion.

BetMGM was one of the first four Colorado sports betting apps to launch on May 1. BetMGM operates the app in conjunction with the Midnight Rose Hotel and Casino in Cripple Creek.

Matt Prevost, BetMGM’s chief marketing officer, said in the release,

“This partnership with the Broncos allows us to showcase not only a premier BetMGM sports betting and gaming platform, but also the world-class entertainment experiences delivered by MGM Resorts. We’re excited to bring both of these to Broncos fans at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium and across the country, while offering BetMGM users new ways to engage with their favorite football team.”

Free-to-play game

As for the free-to-play game, the press release states that it will be available to Broncos fans directly on the team’s official mobile app.

The press release adds the game will offer eligible fans the opportunity to test their sports prediction skills and win MGM Resorts prizes, including trips to MGM Resorts properties nationwide.

Broncos Chief Commercial Officer Mac Freeman said in the release,

“When we began the process of identifying potential partners in this category, our goal was to provide Broncos fans with unique ways to engage with sports betting. Together with BetMGM, we can now offer our fans and M life Rewards members in Colorado new opportunities such as in-stadium gaming lounge, VIP travel packages to MGM Resorts around the country and a free-to-play game through our mobile app.”

Freeman has been a busy guy over the last month.

As Legal Sports Report tweeted, if you’re a sports betting operator in Colorado and you don’t have a deal with the Broncos, it’s time to ask yourself why not.
