Not that you need reminding, but Super Bowl LVI kicks off at 4:30 p.m. (MT) on Sunday, Feb. 13.
Sparkling new SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., serves as the site.
You can certainly watch the upstart Cincinnati Bengals try to take down the favored Los Angeles Rams from your well worn-in living room sofa. Or at your favorite neighborhood sports bar.
But how about switching up your Big Game routine this year?
Colorado Super Bowl betting already has become a must on your game-day itinerary.
So why not catch the action live at one of the state’s plethora of casinos or retail sportsbooks?
There are a number of enticing in-house watch parties and promotions planned. And there’s certainly plenty to do before and after the game as well.
With COVID-19 concerns lessening, casino properties in Black Hawk, Central City and Cripple Creek figure to be popular locales.
Kevin Dawn, the Barstool Sportsbook director at the Ameristar Casino Resort and Spa in BlackHawk, says the establishment is currently taking bar reservations for game day.
The following is just a sampling of the events planned at Colorado casinos and sportsbooks to spice up your Super Bowl weekend.
Super Manningcast can be seen at Isle Casino
Two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning gained national acclaim this season with their Monday Night Football “Manningcasts” on the ESPN networks.
NBC — and not ESPN — carries this year’s Super Bowl broadcast rights. But through the Mannings’ partnership with Caesars Sportsboook, a Big Game Manningcast can be seen at Caesars brick-and-mortar Colorado home base, the Isle Casino Hotel in Black Hawk.
According to the Isle’s website, exclusive live in-game Super Bowl commentary from the Manning brothers will be streamed live over the property’s 65 televisions.
That will allow customers to keep pace with the on-field action from Inglewood, Calif., while partaking in the in-house action at the Isle’s wide array of table games. Or while playing some of the establishment’s 900-plus slot machines.
The Isle’s in-house Farmer’s Pick Cafe is getting into the Super Sunday spirit as well. The restaurant will feature a unique menu with specials on traditional game-day favorites ranging from beef and pork sliders to trio dip and chip platters to domestic and imported beer buckets.
The Isle doesn’t feature a physical sportsbook, per se. But there are Caesars betting kiosks conveniently located throughout the property.
Those kiosks will carry the full Super Bowl LVI wagering fare found on the popular Caesars Sportsbook app.

Big Bowl Bash on tap at the Monarch
The BetMonarch Sportsbook, located within the Monarch Casino Resort Spa in Black Hawk, is a prime locale to watch and bet on any sporting event.
There is an array of comfortable couches and TVs with plenty of Colorado craft beer on tap. For those seeking a VIP experience, there are private booths and TVs available.
And then there’s the BetMonarch’s crown jewel: The Sportsbook’s massive, main TV screen that measures 16 feet from corner to corner. It’s paired with a state-of-the-art sound system to reproduce a true game-day experience.
On Super Sunday, that will be the headquarters for the Monarch’s Big Bowl Bash.
Aside from the hundreds of Super Bowl lines and props available in-house and on the BetMonarch app, there will be some sweet bonuses available for Monarch Rewards card holders:
- One winner will take home $25,000 if the opening kickoff is returned for a touchdown.
- After that, any in-game interception, fumble, kickoff or punt returned for a TD will net a random rewards member between $500 and $1,000.
To be eligible for a cash prize, rewards cards must be swiped at a rewards kiosk before kickoff. Cardholders also must be present to win.
Hitting on any of those cash prizes could easily make the trip up to Black Hawk worthwhile.
Super celebration starts Saturday at the Saratoga
At the Saratoga Casino in Black Hawk, they’re getting a jump on the Super weekend festivities.
UFC lightweight fighter and former interim champion Justin Gaethje will be in-house Saturday, Feb. 12 in correlation with the UFC 271 telecast from Houston. Gaethje, a former All-American wrestler at the University of Northern Colorado, will be at the Saratoga from 7:30-10:30 p.m. for autographs and photos.
That’s quite the lead-in on Super Sunday Eve.
On game day at the Saratoga’s BetFred sportsbook, things start with a free T-shirt giveaway for any Super Bowl wager.
Speaking of wagers, a multitude of props will be available, as well as attractive -105 odds on the game side and total.
On the BetFred Colorado Sportsbook app, any winning prop wager on the game’s first TD scorer will be doubled if that same player scores again in the game.
Those are quite the nice perks while catching the Big Game action from the plush chairs located in the 1,400-square foot sportsbook.
